Junxiang Xu Successfully Defends His Thesis!
Congratulations to Junxiang Xu for successfully defending his PhD thesis on February 19th!
Junxiang’s dissertation, “Resolving Complexity of Lineage Plasticity in Malignant Tumors: Gene Programs, Tumor Microenvironment and Clinical Association”, represents a remarkable body of work that advances our understanding of how tumor cells rewire their identity during cancer progression. Junxiang completed his degree through the Genetics and Genomics Program at Boston University, working jointly between the Dries Lab and the Campbell Lab.
This defense holds a special place in our lab’s history — Junxiang is the first student to graduate from the Dries Lab. We could not be more proud of everything he has accomplished and look forward to seeing where his scientific journey takes him next!
